About the Department
The Department Of English was established in the year 1994.The college started with B.A course & later during the year 1996 B.Com course was also included.
The language English is compulsory for these courses and is introduced to them as Basic English.We also do have Optional English and Additional English for the students ,but it goes with the combination of two other subjects and it is the choice of the students to opt any of the combinations which they are interested.
The department of English aims to develop the holistic approach of the students and also to make them improve their communication skills.It also strives hard to impart quality education in English Language and Literature to raise their standards to global levels and make them employable.
