Department of Hindi
The department was started in July 1994. 1994 onwards Hindi was introduced as  Minor subject at B.A. Program. In 1996 Hindi started in B.com Programmeas minor subject
 Now, the department has one permanent staff member; Dr. Sheela Bhaskar (Head of the Department) 

FEATURES AND OBJECTIVES :
The B.A. and B.Com courses extending over three academic years provide teaching and guidance for acquiring a thorough knowledge of Hindi language and literature. These courses mainly aims at exposure of the young generation to the nature, usages and terminology of Hindi recognized as official language the union by the constitution.

SCOPE :
These courses are intended to make the students efficient to go straight away in to the job desks or to help them to take up self employment. These courses matches the present and future employment opportunities.
 

Course Outcome
On Completion of the 03 Years Degree in Hindi Students will be able to:
•    Demonstratrate solve and understand the major concepts in all disciplines’ of Hindi.
•    Understand practical skills so that they can understand and assess risks and work safety and competently in the field.
•    To apply standard methodology to the solutions of problems in Hindi.
•    Provide students with the ability to plan and carry out experiments independently and assess the significance of outcomes
•    Develop in students the ability to adapt and apply methodology to the solution of unfamiliar types of problems 
•    Employ critical thinking and the scientific knowledge to design, carry out record and analyses the results of.
•    To build confidence in the candidate to be able to work on his own in institution of higher education 
•    To develop an independent and responsible work ethics.
