WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT CELL
The Women’s Grievance Cell, which was later named as Women’s Empowerment Cell was established by the College in accordance with the guidelines provided by the MHRD and UGC, with the following goals:
OBJECTIVES:
• To rise the women staff and students' self-confidence and self-esteem.
• To improve one's ability for taking decisions.
• To raise awareness of gender-related issues, health, work, and social concerns pertaining to women
• To recognize the role of women play in creating a society that is healthy and responsible.
ACTIONS:
• Organising for special talks by proficient women who engage with the students, workshops relating to female students' self-employment.
• Reinforcement of social activities by planning competitions and occasions that support the women empowerment.
